On September 25, the Panshi Municipal Natural Gas Gate Station and Meihua Line High-Pressure Pipeline Project, constructed by Panshi Company, successfully passed the final inspection by China Oil and Gas Piping Network Corporation (PipeChina), meeting the conditions for operation. This marks a solid foundation for Panshi Company’s transition into the era of pipeline gas.

Since its establishment in 2006, Panshi Company has relied on a combined CNG storage and refueling station for its operations. In recent years, due to the company's business development, the station's production capacity has been insufficient to meet gas supply demands. In 2022, Panshi Company learned that the Meihua Line long-distance pipeline, which passes through Panshi, was listed as a key oil and gas project in the “14th Five-Year Plan” by the Jilin Provincial Development and Reform Commission and included in the first batch of planned pipelines by PipeChina. This pipeline design includes a Panshi distribution station with an ultra-high-pressure interface reserved.
After active preparations and applications, Panshi Company began construction of the gate station and high-pressure pipeline project in May of this year. The project involved building one gate station and laying 12 kilometers of high-pressure pipelines, with an annual gas transmission capacity of 87.6 million cubic meters. It passed PipeChina’s final inspection on September 25, becoming the first completed and operational-ready station along the Meihua Line.
The introduction of pipeline gas will significantly boost Panshi Company’s efforts to expand its commercial and industrial customer base, optimize the local energy and industrial structure, strengthen gas supply security, and promote high-quality regional economic development. Currently, Panshi Company is actively coordinating with PetroChina to advance gas volume applications and diligently preparing for the transition to pipeline gas supply.
