On December 6, the research group for evaluating the effectiveness of urban gas safety campaigns from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) visited Hebi Company in Henan Province to investigate safety improvement efforts and affirmed the company's smart construction efforts.

It is reported that MOHURD initiated the "National Urban Gas Safety Campaign Effectiveness Evaluation" research project by selecting two cities from each province with exemplary campaign implementation, based on recommendations from provincial gas task forces, with the aim of summarizing and promoting outstanding experiences and practices. Hebi City was chosen as one of Henan Province's representative cities for this research.
During the investigation, the expert group conducted in-depth reviews of Hebi Company's gas safety management systems, hazard identification and rectification processes, establishment of long-term mechanisms for implementing primary responsibilities, and intelligent gas construction through document reviews, discussions, and on-site inspections. The group affirmed Hebi Company's smart gas construction and safety management efforts. Experts stated that Hebi Company actively responds to the national digital infrastructure strategy, constructing a multi-dimensional urban gas safety network through informatization and digital means, which meets the requirements for safe and smart gas operations in the new era.
In recent years, Hebi Company has comprehensively advanced the construction of smart gas systems, achieving pipeline network inspection and monitoring, real-time flow monitoring, and alarm functions.
