From December 15 to 22, the 7th "Guruclub Global Investment Carnival - 2023" took place online, attracting great attention. Zhang Yingcen, Chairman of Tian Lun Gas (01600.HK), received the "Excellent Leader of the Year" at the GuruClub Greater China Best Listed Company Awards.
The GuruClub Greater China Best Listed Company Awards aim to create a list of the most reference-worthy listed companies in the investment community. These awards encompass Chinese companies listed on exchanges such as the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and exchanges in the United States. The "Excellent Leader of the Year" award aims to recognize exceptional leaders capable of guiding their enterprises and society's development by deeply considering changes within the social environment, making long-term plans, and guiding the future of business practice in China. The final decision is based on quantitative data analysis and the expert opinions of a panel of judges.
Guided by two national policies, i.e. rural revitalization and "dual carbon" goals, Tian Lun Gas, together with Zhongyuan Yuzi Investment Holding Group, has promoted gas penetration in rural areas and invited a strategic shareholder, Zhuhai Port Holdings Group, to develop green energy, aiming to become a first-class green and low-carbon energy supplier and service provider in China.
Under the guidance of Chairman Zhang Yingcen, Tian Lun Gas achieved remarkable results in the first half of 2022. The company experienced a 10% year-on-year increase in urban gas retail volume, reaching 835 million cubic meters. Value-added business revenue soared by 88% year-on-year, contributing to steady overall revenue growth. Notably, significant breakthroughs were made in household PV projects.
Throughout the first half of the year, Tian Lun Gas participated in a total of six bids for SPIC Henan projects, winning four of them. Additionally, the company established four joint ventures with SPIC in Xuchang, Pingdingshan, Hebi, and Shangcheng. Publicly available information discloses Tian Lun Gas' plans to achieve a cumulative volume of 1,600 MW in household PV deliveries by 2025. The projected scale for operation and maintenance is anticipated to reach around 3,600 MW, representing a growth potential of several to ten times and showcasing a clear and new growth path for the company.
