In recent days, at the construction site of the Natural Gas Production Program by Comprehensive Utilization of Agricultural Wastes in Shangshui County, Zhoukou City, Henan Province, there has been a bustling scene of labor.
It is reported that the program was constructed by Henan Yu-Tian New Energy Co., Ltd., which was jointly invested and established by Zhongyuan Yuzi Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd. and Henan Tianlun Gas Group Co., Ltd. The program adopts internationally advanced horizontal plug-flow dry anaerobic fermentation technology. During the production and operation process, through intelligent and visual control technologies, the anaerobic reaction environment inside the reactor is monitored in real time, key technical parameters are regulated, and the technical bottleneck of low gas yield and unstable gas volume during the industrial fermentation process of yellow straw is broken through. With the application of digital technology, this program empowers green development following the "dual carbon" goals.
The program uses single dry yellow corn straw as raw material to produce biogas, bio-organic fertilizers, and other products. After completion, the program is expected to produce approximately 18 million cubic meters of biogas, about 22,000 tons of food-grade carbon dioxide, and about 75,000 tons of bio-organic fertilizers annually. It will become a local green "dual carbon" benchmark program in the future.
This program is just a microcosm of Shangshui County's implementation of the energy revolution to boost rural revitalization. Zhang Yingcen, Chairman of Tian Lun Group, stated that from clean energy to green energy, Tian Lun will accelerate the construction of low-carbon energy in rural areas through the biomass gas program in Shangshui, enhance the happiness index of rural life, and promote the development of the rural industrial economy.
Shangshui County has relatively abundant biomass energy, solar energy, geothermal energy, and wind energy resources. In recent years, as a pilot county for the national rural energy revolution, this county has actively promoted the construction of demonstration zones for the rural energy revolution. In June 2018, the Shangshui PV Poverty Alleviation Power Generation Program and the Shangshui XieXin 100MW PV Power Generation Program successively achieved grid-connected power generation. While increasing power generation, they promoted the adjustment and upgrading of the local agricultural industry structure, boosted the high-quality development of the tourism industry, and helped farmers increase their income and become wealthy.
In addition, Shangshui County has also enabled all administrative villages to have access to gas by developing programs such as wind power development, gas penetration in rural areas, clean heating, power plant expansion, and power generation by domestic waste incineration, thereby basically eliminating the use of bulk coal for heating in rural areas within the county. This has greatly improved the local ecological quality and living environment, and played an active role in promoting changes in the energy structure, controlling agricultural non-point source pollution, developing a green circular economy, and improving the ecological civilization level of urban and rural areas.
