Recently, Zhongping Tianlun New Energy signed a strategic agreement with PowerChina Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd. for a photovoltaic EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project with a capacity of 251.59MW and a total contract amount of RMB 827 million in Henan.

Guo Qiang, Deputy General Manager of Pingdingshan Yaomeng Electric Power Co., Ltd. under China Power and Deputy General Manager of Zhongping Tianlun New Energy, signed an agreement with Si Yuanlin, General Manager of Western China Company of PowerChina Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd. Geng Xuejun, Deputy General Manager of Pingdingshan Yaomeng Electric Power Co., Ltd. under China Power, and other responsible persons for related business attended the meeting.

To boost rural revitalization and "dual carbon" goals, put into practice the national strategies such as rural energy revolution, and work with SPIC to carry out "Timely Help Action N", Tian Lun Gas has joined hands with China Power (02380.HK) under SPIC to establish Henan Zhongping Tianlun New Energy Development Co., Ltd. and explore new paths for the development of green energy in a creative manner. Both parties have jointly funded to build a 251.59MW distributed photovoltaic project in counties over Henan and reached strategic cooperation in EPC with PowerChina Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd. They will each give full play to their strengths to jointly promote the smooth implementation, stable and efficient operation, and scalable replication of the new energy system in the rural areas of Henan.

Next, as a new energy resource development and investment platform, Zhongping Tianlun will fully integrate the advantages of China Power as a platform in the field of green and clean energy, the advantages of Tian Lun Gas in the development of the vast market resources and in operation and maintenance in 16 provinces and regions across China, and the great advantages of PowerChina Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd. in management in the field of new energy engineering, to jointly provide customers with green energy solutions and build a green energy service system for the upstream and downstream participators of the new energy industry.

It is reported that the contracted distributed photovoltaic project saw a capacity of 251.59MW and a total investment of about RMB 827 million. It involves over 10 counties such as Baofeng County, Huaibin County, Ruyang County, Xinye County, and Minquan County, and the development and construction of rooftop resources for about 20,000 households. Approaches such as solar canopies, transformation of flat to slope roofs, and courtyard-style designs will be selected according to the local conditions for the implementation of the distributed photovoltaic project. After the project is put into operation with grid connection and electricity generation, the project is expected to produce more than 300 million kilowatt-hours of green power each year, thereby reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 238,000 tons annually and being of great significance to promoting rural revitalization and green sustainable development.

As a green and low-carbon energy and related service provider, Tian Lun Gas has worked with central government-owned and state-owned enterprises in recent years to build new energy service platforms, so as to accelerate the establishment of a diverse energy development system based on cleaner gas, green electricity, and biomass gas, and help maintain or increase the value of state-owned assets.

It carries out rooftop distributed generation projects in Pingdingshan, Hebi, Xuchang, and Shangcheng County with a high-quality gas customer base. In 2023, Tian Lun Gas joined hands with China Power to establish Henan Zhongping Tianlun New Energy Development Co., Ltd., to further explore the household PV market in Henan's rural areas, promote the integrated development of new energy and rural revitalization, and add "green energy" to rural revitalization.

With the establishment of Zhongping Tianlun, the "gas-electricity coordination" model of Tian Lun Gas became increasingly clear. The synergy and complementarity of gas and electricity, two important forms of energy for rural application, symbolize the "Tianlun Model" that propels the development of the green countryside with new energy. In this model, people can either receive a fixed annual fee for renting out their rooftops or have the product and service fees such as gas charges, use of smart appliances, retrofitting and maintenance set off by the rooftop rental fees. It has eliminated the potential risks to people's interests posed by the finance lease model commonly seen in the market and truly benefited the masses with photovoltaic projects.
