·Reinforce Green Energy Construction and Practice Low-carbon Development and Emission Reduction
As the main force in the rural gas construction in Henan's towns and villages, Tian Lun Gas vigorously promotes the improvement and upgrading of rural life and industries through Gas Penetration in Rural Areas, making gas and hot water handy to rural residents. Its move has greatly advanced the building of beautiful and harmonious villages where one can "gaze at the starry sky, see green mountains, and smell the fragrance of flowers". By the end of 2022, the company had cumulatively served nearly 2 million rural gas customers, replacing 2,597,700 tons of coal, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 1,189,300 tons, and reducing PM2.5 emissions by 3,600 tons.
Tian Lun Gas follows the national policy of "promoting the construction of clean energy such as PV power and biomass in rural areas" and joins hands with central/state-owned enterprises like SPIC and PowerChina to actively deploy distributed photovoltaic business. Relying on its customer resources on the gas market, the company innovated a "gas-electricity coordination" model, which has been applied for power generation in places like Pingdingshan and Shangcheng. The implementation of the "gas-electricity synergy" model contributes Tian Lun's share to Henan's green energy development strategy and eco-environmental protection. Taking 10 "gas-electricity coordination" customers as an example, the total installed capacity is about 0.3MW; after the whole project is completed and put into operation, it can reduce consumption of standard coal by about 110 tons, carbon dioxide emissions by about 246 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by about 10 tons, and particulate matter emissions by about 96 tons annually.
To establish an all-dimensional ecological industrial chain service circle suitable for Henan Province's conditions, and to comprehensively improve the quality of rural energy use, Tian Lun Gas has constructed the Natural Gas Production Program by Comprehensive Utilization of Agricultural Wastes in Shangshui County through Henan Yu-Tian New Energy Co., Ltd., and the program is expected to be officially put into operation in January 2024. The program uses dry yellow corn straw as raw material and adopts internationally advanced dry anaerobic fermentation technology to produce biogas, bio-organic fertilizers, and food-grade carbon dioxide. It processes nearly 200,000 tons of straw annually, effectively avoiding straw pollution and the hazards of returning straw to the field, realizing high-quality utilization of straw, and improving soil quality. Carbon dioxide emissions are reduced by 350,000 tons per year.
·Improve Public Welfare and Empower Rural Revitalization
Upholding the values of "To Develop and Enjoy Tian Lun Together", Tian Lun Gas actively assumes corporate citizenship responsibilities while achieving its own steady development. The company donated to emergency relief funds for those in need, participated in the protection of soil, water, and biodiversity, and vigorously promoted the renovation of pipelines in old communities, improved the quality of residential energy use and optimized the structure of industrial and commercial energy use. It built more than 200 rural service stations in Henan Province, enabling villagers to enjoy one-stop energy services at their doorstep, and provided local technical positions for rural women, creating up to 20,000 jobs in rural areas during the project construction period, with an aim to help villagers live and work in peace and enjoy family bliss.
